Dr. Khaled Zoud

Dr. Zoud earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1994. Then in 2002, he graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours. He also achieved his specialist qualification with the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) in 2006.

To add to his achievements, Dr. Zoud regularly completes national and international continuing education courses. He also teaches and trains other dentists and doctors and is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Among patients, Dr. Zoud is known for his compassion, understanding, and willingness to listen. Engaging with patients and finding personalized solutions to their problems is his passion.

Outside of the office, Dr. Zoud has traveled to the Philippines with Operation Restore Hope to treat patients with cleft lips and palates. Additionally, he loves spending time with his wife, four children, and their unusual pets: pygmy bearded dragon lizards, two Tonkinese cats, and an Eclectus parrot.

As our dental practice manager, Shirsty oversees the nonclinical, business side of our practice. Shirsty graduated with a Masters of Commerce from the University of Ballarat in Melbourne. While she loves every aspect of her job, building positive relationships with patients through trust and engagement is her favorite part.

In her free time, Shirsty enjoys spending time with her husband and 6-year-old son who loves to play soccer. She is also an avid movie-watcher and traveler.

Our front office coordinator and surgical assistant, Sonita, joined our team in 2016. She loves building relationships with every patient who walks through the door. She believes that everyone has a story to tell and is proud to be able to contribute to their health and well-being.

Sonita is a self-proclaimed foodie and experimental cook. She loves animals, traveling all over the world, and snowboarding. She is always planning the next adventure with her husband and fur-baby, Willow, which usually includes mountain ranges, a wood fire, and toasted marshmallows.

As a surgical nurse assistant and dental assistant, Katrina plays a significant role in helping patients feel comfortable during procedures. She is passionate about making patients feel at ease and cared for. Previously a chef, Katrina loves to cook but is loving every moment of her new career. She joined our practice at the beginning of 2021.

In her spare time, she loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family.

Mona has been our front office coordinator since 2020. She is always eager and happy to help and support our patients in any way she can. Mona has years of education and experience in the healthcare industry. She graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Nursing and from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Midwifery. Additionally, Mona is trained as a Registered Nurse in Oncology, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. We are grateful to have her on our team!

Outside of work, Mona volunteers with the Crescent Foundation and enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family.
